LITTLE LION TAMER

I will never forget
the scene that day
my child in the corner
her arms stretched wide
tears streaming down her face
and behind her two

little twin girls
she was trying to hide!

The nursery worker (her lion)
had yelled and
made the babies cry.
*
So my sweet, brave child
at the age of two
faced down this lion
and would not
let her through!

They came and got me
out of church service
that day, for they
did not know what
to do
*
Some parents worry
their children will not

live up to
their hopes and dreams.
*
I worried too!
That I
would not be
worthy
of a child like
you!
